Learning an instrument like the piano is a powerful way for students to explore their passions and find their personal success, and we are proud to have talented community members like Mr. Burrell share their expertise with our school community.
With 15+ years of experience teaching and an impressive performance background with local legends like Prince, Alexander O’Neal, and the Steeles, Mr. Todd Burrell brings both expertise and heart to every lesson. Burrell began learning piano at age five, inspired by his father, an accomplished pianist who still plays at 90.
Today, he has come full circle, teaching private piano lessons through Mahtomedi Community Education to students as young as first grade. His favorite part of teaching? “Watching students grow over time and stay committed to their learning!”
