NITRO-X Summer Camp
LEARN about how vehicles work, build your confidence with technical skills, work in teams to develop life and employability skills and gain exposure to industry by going on tours of local businesses and have fun showing off your skills at the end of the week with a race!

Limited to 16 Participants!
$250 per person –Payment Due with Registration
Refer a friend and both receive $50 off

edX and Stanford Online: How to Learn Math
How to Learn Math is a free self-paced class for learners of all levels of mathematics. It combines important information on the brain with new evidence on the best ways to approach math effectively. Many people have had negative experiences with math. This class will give learners of math the information to become powerful math learners, correct any misconceptions about what math is, and will teach them about their own potential to succeed. Imagine Art White Bear Center for the Arts

WBCA’s summer classes for youth include clay, drawing, painting, mixed media, performing art and more!

The Carole Fargo Scholarship will provide funds (up to $500), upon written application, for talented, creative and serious students in need of financial assistance to attend a visual arts summer camp program of activity in one of the following areas: drawing, design, painting, print media, film/video, website design, sculpture, decorative arts, applied arts and literary arts. Applicants must be a student in Mahtomedi Public Schools currently in grades K - 11. Carole Fargo Scholarship application is available here. Applications are due March 31, 2020.

Good Neighbor Club
The Good Neighbor Club helps those in need in Mahtomedi, Willernie, Pine Springs, Dellwood, part of Grant, a small portion of White Bear Township, Hugo and Lake Elmo. If you are in need of assistance, please call Terri at 651-491-6335 or Vickie at 651-429-9533. Donations are welcome and if you wish to make a donation (cash deductions are fully tax-deductible) send a check payable to The Good Neighbor Club, P.O. Box 714, Willernie, MN 55090.

Registration is open for K-2 and HS Rec (grades 9-12) Basketball through the Mahtomedi Basketball Association! Please make sure to register by the deadline. Youth (grades K-2) registration is open and will stay open until November 24. HS Rec (grades 9-12) registration is open and will stay open until December 7

  • Be Smart for Kids presentation on October 23 at 6:30 pm at White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church (328 Maple Street Mahtomedi). The BE SMART campaign promotes responsible gun storage and asks all adults to take simple steps to reduce the harm that can occur when unsupervised children get hold of an unsecured firearm.   • Q-Quest LGBTQIA Student Festival and Conference Q-Quest is an event for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Allied youth to enjoy workshops, food, activities, conversation, and art with a couple hundred other LGBTQIA+ youth from across the metro & greater metro area.

Tuesday, September 17, 6:30 to 7:30 pm at the Wildwood Elementary School Cafeteria. Attend Troop Formation Night to learn what Girl Scouts is all about, meet other interested families in your community, and work together to start a new troop!
