Mahtomedi Passages Transition Program

Mission

The vision of the Mahtomedi Passages program is to create experiences and learning opportunities to broaden the horizon for students transitioning to adult life in employment, education and training, and independent living.

Passages is a program for students ages 18-21 who have completed their academics and continue to have goals in the areas of employment, independent living, and post-secondary education and training.  Students who attend Passages have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Programming at Passages is based on an individual student’s goals. Students complete their work at Passages through meeting their transition goals or through the age of 21.

Staff strive to create integrated learning opportunities that are individualized and least restrictive.  Instruction takes place both within the center-based program and the community.
