Welcome to S.E.E.D (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity)
Participants of SEED in Mahtomedi Public Schools will investigate issues of ethnicity, race, class, gender, and identity within the educational systems of our nation, state and community. Participants will read books and articles, view films, listen to speakers and explore their community to shed light on these subjects. SEED meetings will be composed of experiential activities, serial testimony, inclusive pedagogy, systematic thinking, and viewing curriculum as a window and mirrors.

There are many great reasons to join SEED in addition to the wonderful perspectives you will share and experience. You may also choose to earn CEU’s or graduate credit. The graduate credits are from St. Catherine’s University and are offered at a greatly discounted rate.
