We believe that healthy meals are essential to helping students learn. Breakfast and lunch are served at all of our buildings and we offer a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains – some of which come to us fresh from local farms.
 

                                           
With your new SchoolCafé account, you are able to set email low balance reminders, schedule automatic payments when a balance of your choosing is reached to avoid low balance phone calls, review student purchases online, and apply for free and reduced meal benefits. SchoolCafé also has a free mobile app available for use on any smart device.
 
Note: During this process parents will be asked to create a username and password to manage their account. Parents will need their child's/children's student ID number to connect them to their account.  Student ID numbers can be found on ParentVue.  New families will receive information about setting up their ParentVUE accounts in August before school starts. Students who were enrolled in Mahtomedi Public Schools for the 2017-18 school year will continue to use their same lunch PIN.

Policy 534 - Unpaid Meal Charges

Families will be notified of outstanding negative balances. Negative balances of more than $50 may be turned over to the superintendent's office for collection. In addition, the District may prohibit participation by the student, and siblings, in other fee based programs such as, but not limited to, field trips, sports, and other activities until the balance is paid in full.
